The Unfortunate Magic Show

I decided to add to the previous post and create a stage for the two characters. Instead of being in a forest they are now performing a magic show within a magical forest setting. Unfortunately, the show hasn't gone to plan, and the apprentice is in big trouble!!

I added the curtains and the top of the stage, plus some more dramatic lighting and some more texture.

I had this urge to get out the REAL acrylics so let loose with paintbrushes by re painting some recent digital pieces. It was all good fun, MUCH more time consuming and ...where are the layers???? Always good to get a regular dose of the traditional.

Old Mrs Coggins at no.47 had an unusual collection of pets. She was very happy to be helping in the community by finding homes for the strays she found loitering in the local neighborhood. The hospital was very pleased that Mrs. Coggins had embraced their idea of " pets for the elderly", and were delighted with the improvement to her health and general well being!
Mrs Coggins also seemed to have the ability to "resize" her pets according to her available room space!!...
